When QUANTEEC’s OTT P2P Technology won the Best of Show at NAB and the trophy went missing

In the world of streaming, the NAB Show stands out as an essential event for participation. In 2023, for QUANTEEC, with our OTT P2P-based technological innovation, receiving both the Product of the Year and the Best of Show Awards in the same evening was a surprise and a thrill beyond measure. One of the awards, the Product of the Year, was presented to us on the spot, while the Best of Show Award was to be mailed to our offices in Bordeaux. We found this arrangement quite convenient, and there was even a chance that the award might arrive in Bordeaux before we did. However, that was not the case.

The story commences on April 18, 2023, in Las Vegas, where QUANTEEC was honored with the Best of Show Awards. As the announcement echoed through the corridors of innovation and accolades were graciously accepted, the trophy that symbolized this remarkable achievement with OTT P2P technologies was expected to make its way to QUANTEEC’s headquarters in Bordeaux, France, posthaste. Yet, what was anticipated to be a swift transition turned into a prolonged saga of waiting. Days turned into months, and despite every attempt to secure the trophy, it remained elusive, its absence a silent space among the display cases eagerly awaiting its presence.

In response to the unforeseen delay, we initiated our own track for the package, delving into the logistics and communications to pinpoint the source of the problem.

The delay, however, did little to dampen the spirits of those at QUANTEEC. Instead, it served as a reminder of the very principles that propelled the company to the forefront of streaming innovation. At QUANTEEC, finding solutions to problems is part of our DNA, and our perseverance inevitably leads to the realization of these solutions, sooner or later. The moment was nothing short of magical, a mixture of disbelief and overwhelming joy as the trophy was finally placed among its peers, a tangible symbol of QUANTEEC’s indomitable spirit and commitment to innovation with OTT P2P technologies.

As QUANTEEC celebrates this momentous occasion, it’s not just about the OTT P2P trophy but what it represents – a year of remarkable achievements and the promise of an even brighter future.
